Hand-Drawn Wedding Invitations

I love the look of hand-drawn wedding invitations. They’re whimsical, trendy, and they add a lot of personality to wedding invitations. The cutesy illustrations and ornate touches of ink are definitely more exciting than the traditional, gold-embossed invites of old. I don’t know anyone in the Philippines who does wedding invites, but if you, your fiancee or a good friend is adept at Photoshop or calligraphy, DIY hand drawn wedding invitations are a great way to save money on invites. Check out some pretty designs from vendors and blogs I’ve found online.

I love how the envelopes are addressed and labeled with such beautiful lettering. If you’re unable to create DIY hand drawn wedding invitations, you can address the envelopes with your pretty handwriting for a more personal touch.

Instead of hand-illustrated drawings, you can skip images altogether and make a wedding invite using pretty lettering.

If making DIY hand drawn invitations will take up too much time, you can still add a touch of personal creativity to your invites by slipping in hand-drawn maps of your wedding venue. It’ll still save you a couple of extra pesos that would have been spent on maps done by the wedding invite vendor.
