Plus Size Wedding Dresses by Hervé Mariage’s Lea Collection
Leave it to the French to design plus size wedding dresses that are just as flattering as they are fashion-forward. The Lea 2011 fall bridal collection from the French label Hervé Mariage features a breathtaking assortment of ballgown wedding dresses adorned with figure-flattering pleats and glittering beadwork. Who says plus sized brides have to be all covered up on their big day? Certainly not this collection.
Diagonal ruffles highlight the womanly curves of this spaghetti-strapped confection, while the sweetheart bust provides ample coverage.
This strapless ballgown is unlike all the others with its delicate folded satin and draped skirt.
A ravishing red dress, this gorgeous gown is made of a rich satin pin-tucked at the waist to create dramatic folds. Breaking the solid color are the beaded flowers embellished on the bust.
It’s hard to decide which one I love more – the floral tulle hat, or the clean architecture of the textured bust and A-line skirt.
Last but not the least is a ballgown dress with a corseted bodice, a great alternative to the strapless gown for big-bosomed brides.
