Douglas Hannant Spring 2013 Bridal Collection

There is only one word that can be used to describe Douglas Hannant’s spring 2013 collection: dramatic. Each of the ten dresses in this collection tells a passionate story of love, romance, and beauty without being too different or inappropriate. Douglas Hannant is known to experiment with volume, texture, and color, and his wedding dresses this season are no different. A few interesting details from last season, such as metallic Chantilly lace, comes back in new forms this spring. It’s clear that Hannant clearly had fun playing with volume (check out the theatrical gown with the puff sleeves) and lush, printed fabrics, but the effect is always romantic and appropriate thanks to his sheer talent and couture dressmaking skills.
