Bridal Bags from Bolsito
All eyes (and lenses) are going to be on you during your big day, and surprise beauty mishaps can happen even if you have your pre-wedding skin and hair routine all planned. The last thing you want is for your makeup to fade before dinner or for your lipstick to smear right as soon as the photographer’s lens is pointed at you. It helps to bring a compact, mirror, lipstick, comb, and a small eyeshadow palette with you so you can retouch your makeup in between photographs. Of course, these must-have items should be kept in a chic bridal handbag so you don’t spend the whole reception keeping your makeup tucked under your wedding dress.
Unlike a normal handbag or evening bag, a bridal bag has to be unobtrusive; it should be pretty but it should not take attention away from your dress – unless it is simple, unadorned, and calls for loud accessories to complete the look. If you’re on the hunt for the perfect bridal bag, check out the gorgeous items from Bolcito Bags. These fashion-forward purses will not only keep your makeup in one place; they come in versatile, timeless designs so you can use them again and again. Look under the cut for my favorite pieces from Bolcito’s debut collection!
Made of ivory silk, Blossom (P800) will definitely amp up the romance factor of your wedding day look. The bag resembles a kissing ball, if kissing balls were made of silk, and I think you can get away without carrying a bouquet of flowers if you have a bag like this.
Angela (P1000) is also made of silk flowers, but it comes with it pearl handles and has a more conventional shape. You can definitely store more makeup in this delicate purse.
If you’re wearing a slinky column dress, Sienna (1200) can complete your old Hollywood glam look. A fully sequined bag with a diamond-encrustred strap, this clutch bag also comes with a silver chain strap for easier carrying. You can choose between a long silver chain so you can carry it on your shoulder, or a short silver chain so you can let it dangle from your wrist.
I mentioned before that you can pull off the black accent trend with an all-white dress, as long as you wear black accessories. Elizabeth (P1000) is the accessory for this trend. Like Sienna, this purse is covered in sequins, beads and crystals, and comes with a romantic Victorian-inspired clasp to keep all your makeup in place.
Sabrina is not a bridal bag, but I couldn’t help but notice and fall in love with this purse! I’m contemplating getting one for myself, but I can’t decide on the color. Pink champagne will stand out more, but it’s a little harder to find clothes to pair it with. On the other hand, the olive bag looks almost black and can go with any evening dress in my closet. Decisions, decisions.

The bags really cute! It’s so hard to find a nice evening bag. Most of the good ones are around P5,000 and up. These bags are really cheap given that they’re so heavily beaded.
