Vintage-Style Bridal Hair Accessories
Tuesday, September 1st, 2009I was randomly surfing the web when I came across an indie designer called New York Nat and her stunning collection of vintage-style bridal accessories. We’re all familiar with birdcage veils by now and how they best complement a vintage wedding dress, but New York Nat’s veils and accessories do the trick as well – if not better. There isn’t much information about pricing on the website but I suppose you can just take a cue from her designs and use these as inspiration for your own vintage wedding day look.

Sweet Jade is my favorite veil among the bunch. It’s perfect for simple civil weddings and garden weddings and makes you look like a bride even if you don’t want to be swathed in veils per se. Another thing I love about this veil is that it’s so versatile; the A-line shape of the tulle flatters both up-dos and half-ponytails, and you don’t have to necessarily wear it with a vintage-style tea-length dress. I can see this looking fabulous with a slightly modern column dress too.
