Catherine Dean‘s beautiful wedding dresses are a refreshing change from the opulent, frilly gowns that dominate the bridal market today. A global traveler, she was born in Ireland but grew up in South Africa, then received her fashion education in London before settling down in Hong Kong. Her worldliness is probably the reason why her wedding dresses aren’t quite like the rest; she carefully borrows cultural references and with her subtle touch, adds it to universal silhouettes to create gowns that are as flattering as they are utterly sophisticated.
