Kate Middleton Wears an Alexander McQueen Gown

It’s no royal wedding dress, but Kate Middleton’s new Alexander McQueen gown was stunning enough to capture the attention of fashionistas and brides-to-be everywhere. Worn at the BAFTA during the latter end of the royal couple’s North American tour, the billowy lavender gown had delicate pleats on the bust, a thick banded waist, a high neckline, and hints of a cap sleeve. Kate Middleton wore the gown with Jimmy Choo shoes and kept her accessories to a minimum. In fact, the only jewelry she wore that night was her engagement ring and earrings she borrowed from the Queen of England herself.
