Nature-inspired wedding dresses dominate the runways for spring 2010, and the lovely work of Spanish designer Jorge Terra follows this trend beautifully. White silk empire dresses are embellished with colorful flowers and vivid detailing. His dresses are the perfect pick-me-up for a gloomy morning.

A lot of brides would probably be hesitant to wear a dress like the ones pictured above because they don’t look anything at all like the traditional poufy ballgown dress. But the beauty of choosing a dress that doesn’t look like a wedding dress is that you can easily wear it to other formal occasions. Wouldn’t it be better to spend a lot of money on a dress you can wear more than once than on a dress you can only wear for one evening?
