Claire Pettibone Fall 2010 Bridal Collection
I’m starting to notice a pattern among the wedding dresses in the 2010 catwalks. For fall 2010, expect a lot of romantic wedding dresses with intricate lacy overlays, as well as a few nature-inspired details and appliques. In line with spring 2010′s nature-inspired trend, the dresses in Claire Pettibone’s fall collection are adorned by large silk flowers in muted tones. I’m not really a big fan of some of the designers in her fall 2010 collection, but her fall 2009 and continuing collections are absolutely gorgeous. I think I’ll feature them sometime soon.

A large pink rose with an Oriental tassel is the main focal point of those breezy strapless wedding dress. I’m not really sure about the tassel, but the dress is gorgeous otherwise.

This silk column dress has an sheer overlay with large embroidered orchids. The bust and neckline is almost lingerie-like, but you can get away with a dress like this if you wear a lacy bolero.

I love this dress for two reasons: the sheer overlay is split in the middle, giving off the feel of a medieval wedding dress without looking like a costume.

The delicate chiffon straps looks wonderfully sexy yet romantic at the same time. The large rose applique also makes a perfect finishing touch.
