Red Carpet Wedding Inspiration

I’m not really one to blindly follow whatever celebrities are wearing, but you have to admit that watching the stars walk down the red carpet is just as good as watching a fashion show. Below are my favorite white gowns from this year’s Oscar red carpet to help you take a cue from the stars.

Anyone who watches Sex and the City is very familiar with Sarah Jessica Parker’s unconventional style, but she tones it down a bit with a ballgown Dior dress and smooth brown waves. What makes this dress unique if you were to wear it down the aisle: the thick white belt.

Marisa Tomei’s figure looks stunning in this asymetrical Atelier Versace gown. To imitate this look, try going for a wedding dress with rich, textured satin.

Melissa George looks as sultry as a sea siren in a Dolce and Gabanna gown. Want a wedding dress with a mermaid skirt? Make the transition from the column to the skirt sharp and dramatic!

Evan Rachel Wood is the epitome of sophisticated, old-Hollywood elegance in a chiffon Eli Saab dress. I think what really carried the look is the way her hair is colored and styled.

Glamorous brides who want that old Hollywood look can also take notes on Anne Hathaway’s Armani Prive gown and her sleek updo.
