I’m not really one to blindly follow whatever celebrities are wearing, but you have to admit that watching the stars walk down the red carpet is just as good as watching a fashion show. Below are my favorite white gowns from this year’s Oscar red carpet to help you take a cue from the stars.

Anyone who watches Sex and the City is very familiar with Sarah Jessica Parker’s unconventional style, but she tones it down a bit with a ballgown Dior dress and smooth brown waves. What makes this dress unique if you were to wear it down the aisle: the thick white belt.
