Carrie Underwood’s David Tutera Wedding Dress

Whenever a celebrity gets engaged, the first question in everyone’s mind is, “What is she going to wear?” Sometimes it’s, “Who’s designing her wedding dress?” Pop singer Carrie Underwood recently got engaged to her hockeystar boyfriend Mike Fisher, and she’s wearing a short wedding dress designed by celebrity wedding planner David Tutera. Tutera suggested the Cameron dress pictured above, as the shape would complement Carrie’s figure and gorgeous long legs. The detailed silver and pearl beadwork is also fitting for any blushing celebrity bride. For the ceremony itself, a detachable skirt will be placed to give her a more traditional look during the formalities.
I really want to like the dress, but I just don’t. From afar it looks like a glorified bathrobe – you can’t tell that it’s actually made out of beads.

Carrie isn’t wearing that dress. The guy suggested it. She said this week she hasn’t picked a designer and I can assure you it wouldn’t be that dress. That dress looks like one of those touch and feel books for a baby.
