While wedding photos will help your guests remember how much fun they had at your wedding, wouldn’t you want a wedding favor that will engage their sense of taste? Personalized chocolates are nothing new to the local wedding industry, but there’s nothing like these lovely European delicacies from Paulene Chocolat Suisses.

Not only is each luscious piece is carefully handmade out of the finest Swiss chocolate imported from Europe; you have the freedom to choose the packaging to match your motif. If you order pralines, you have the option to personalize them with your names, initials, or wedding date. And despite the fact that these fine chocolates are made of the best ingredients by two very experienced chefs, the prices are fairly reasonable. Check out the rates under the cut.

DIY Wedding Favor Packaging

DIY wedding favor packaging

Here’s a DIY tip on how to make your wedding day favors look more presentable: grab several brown paper bags, keep the wedding favors inside, and decorate the brown paper bag with ribbons, paper doilies, or a thank you card. To make it more memorable, create and print out stickers with the couple’s name and wedding date to stick onto the paper bag. Using brown paper bags is best for small wedding favors that come in groups, like personalized chocolate, or delicate items like soap.

Let them Wear Havaianas!

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Are you undecided on what shoes to wear for your beach wedding? Do your bridesmaids’ footwear look like they’d be more comfortable on concrete rather than on sand? Let your entourage kick off their formal shoes and experience your wedding in comfort with Havaianas, the world-famous ultra-soft rubber flipflops from Brazil. Because Havaianas come in different colors and designs, they’ll look just as stylish on you as your bridesmaids – and even your groom.

Shimmer under the sun in these limited edition, Swarovski-crystal covered Havaianas. They’re the perfect complement to short beach wedding dress.

But you’re going to need extra height if you’re getting married in a long dress. Try the High Look Havaianas in white.

Wedding Favor Idea: Photo Booth Pictures

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

A wedding favor is usually given to guests to thank them for coming to your wedding and to remind them about what a special occasion it was. But what better reminder is there than a photo shows how much fun the event was? Instead of giving out figurines that your guests will either throw out or use to accumulate dust, rent out a photo booth and let your guests take home their photos as a fun wedding favor. Photo booths allow your guests to let their wacky and creative sides come out, and it takes only seconds for photos to get printed. And with the technology available today, rented photo booths usually have better quality than grainy, mall-style photo booths. Even celebrities in the US prefer using photo booths for their wedding portraiture. Christina Aguilera and Dave Matthews Band bassist Stefan Lessard both rented photo booths for their wedding weekends.

As far as I know, Clique Booth is the only company that rents out photo booths for weddings and other special events. Rates start at P15,000 and includes 3 hours of service, a full-time attendant, unlimited prints, images stored in a CD, and an oline gallery. For P20,000 you get the same services except the Clique Booth is yours for 5 hours instead of 3. What I like about the Clique Booth is that for P5,000 more, you can get a wonderful alternative to the traditional wedding guest book – a 50-page 8×10 Clique Book where your guests can slip in their photos and write their wishes to you. Call the Clique Booth office at 925-2356 to book your Clique Booth.

Personalized Crystal Book Keepsake

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Wedding mementos are usually done in the form of photo albums, which are great on their own because there’s nothing that triggers nostalgia better than seeing moments of this important day frozen in time. Here’s another way of preserving wedding memories that I think is pretty unique. The crystal book from Hanson Ellis works like a standard bound book, except you can have the name of the bride and groom carved on the crystal, as well as a short message, a poem, or a short description of how they met. What I like about this wedding favor is that it’s so easy to customize it and make it more personal and meaningful. Have one made for yourself, or make some for the maid of honor, bridesmaids, or anyone else who helped with planning the wedding as a sign of thanks. Each Crystal Book costs around $59 at HansonEllis.Com.
