Vintage-Inspired Wedding Dresses from Raylia

Raylia Designs first came to my attention when I spotted this gorgeous vintage-inspired, tea-colored dress featured at Syle Chic (see photo above). I haven’t seen a dress with such vintage-style elegance; the beadwork is intricate without being tacky, and the unusual color of the dress just adds to its old-fashioned charm. According to the girl who rocked the dress on her wedding, Raylia no longer carries this particular style. But when I checked out the website, I was able to spot several wedding dresses with the same delicate beadwork, appliques, and nostalgic feel. Here they are:

This gorgeous lace and tulle a-line gown is perhaps the closest in terms of beadwork and color to the wedding dress that first got my attention. Only difference is that instead of a sweetheart neckline, this dress has a v-neckline and tank-style straps. I’m totally loving the beaded broach right in the middle of the bust, and I would definitely wear a dress like this to my hypothetical wedding (if not this very dress).

This strapless a-line satin gown features gorgeous beading and appliques along the skirt and bodice, which is repeated along the chapel length train. Check out the lovely details along the scalloped hem.

I’m starting to love how v-necklines and tank style straps look on wedding dresses. This light gold a-line gown is accented with lace, tulle, and beading, and has a lace-up back.

This strapless dress is made of soft tulle, lace, and taffeta and features the intricate beadwork that characterize most Raylia dresses. The pale pink sash makes a gorgeous finishing touch, and is also embroidered with the same motif spotted on the beadwork.

This strapless mermaid tea-length gown is gorgeous in its simplicity. Unlike the other dresses I liked, this one is completely devoid of beadwork, but the dress’s length and the full tulle skirt is very 50’s. The fabric wrap detailing on the bodice adds a bit of a modern touch.
