Plus Size Bridal Gown Styles

Bridal gowns today come in all forms and sizes for women of all shapes. Plus size wedding gowns are designed to highlight your body type’s features and downplay your flaws to ultimately make you look gorgeous on your wedding day. Watch out for these styles when you go shopping for your wedding dress:
A-line dresses create a long, flowing line that draws attention away from unflattering curves in your belly area. It accentuates your shoulders and the bust area – perfect for the plus-sized bride.
Empire-waist dresses are the ones that fall straight from the bust line, playing up your cleavage while hiding everything else that you aren’t confident of.
Sleeves that end on your elbows or that end at a point at your hand (think Gothic-style) add a flattering line to your dress. Avoid wearing puffy sleeves as these will make you look bulky.
Bridal gowns with keyhole necklines or open necklines are will flatter your overall figure. If you’ve got a bust you feel confident about, play up your assets by wearing a push-up bra that will show just a tiny hint of cleavage.
