Remember those days when Barbie was in pigtails, pink leggings, and rollerskates? Well she’s gone a long way from girly to glamorous in her very first Monique Lhuillier wedding gown. Barbie’s bridal gown has a white silk lace bodice and an A-line skirt made out of pearl-white tulle. Topping off the dress is a thick, sable-colored satin sash with a floral rhinestone brooch; small faux pearls and glittering sequins embellish the sash’s ends. Barbie’s bridal ensemble is completed with a faux-diamond engagement ring, stud earrings, lacy lingerie, even a white garter with a blue ribbon.
The Monique Lhuillier Barbie doll is a little pricey at around $200 but this might just be the perfect present to give for Barbie doll collectors and excited brides-to-be.
