Bridal Gown Trends: Textured Wedding Gowns

The cooler weather of the -ber months makes it a perfect time for you to wear certain wedding gown trends that would look a little out of place during other times of the year. This month, heavy fabrics like silk mikado or textured wedding gowns made out of lace are all the rage. Delicate beadwork on the bodice or the skirt also helps add texture to a wedding gown. When deciding what shade of white to use, go along with the season’s colors and get an off-white or ivory wedding dress with autumnal accents like a sash in plum, navy, or chocolate brown.
This yummy number by Melissa Sweet is the perfect example of a wedding gown that combines two of the season’s trends – the textured wedding gown and sleeves. The French lace fabric makes this wedding dress tres romantic and the organza bow is a lovely finishing touch to such a delicate design.
